JOHOR BARU: Police have arrested a woman for driving against traffic along the Senai-Desaru Expressway near the Cahaya Baru toll plaza exit.
A video of the incident, which occurred on Thursday, showing a woman driving a car towards Desaru has gone viral on social media.
Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the 46-year-old woman was detained after she turned up at the Seri Alam district police headquarters on Saturday.
He said Johor Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department had earlier received the dashcam video lasting 0.48 seconds around noon which was recorded by the public.
“We managed to identify the vehicle, ” he said in a statement.
