Napoleonville burglary investigation leads to multiple arrests

A Napoleonville man who reported a burglary at his home Saturday was arrested on weapons charges, police said.
Ty Albarado, 27, is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office said. Authorities also charged a 16-year-old from Thibodaux and 14-year-old from Gray with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.
The burglary occurred Saturday on La. 308 north of the Supreme Bridge in Napoleonville. Albarado reported that the home he occupied had been burglarized while he was away, authorities said.
Following an investigation, authorities identified the teens as suspects and took them into custody, the Sheriff’s Office said. They were later released to the custody of their guardians.
