Malaysia surpass 10 million mark for Covid-19 vaccine doses with 375,842 jabs given yesterday | Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 Malaysia has passed the 10 million mark for the number of vaccinations administered to the population as of yesterday, advisor to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Associate Professor Mohd Ghows Mohd Azzam said today.  A total of 375,842 jabs were given as of 11.59pm yesterday, the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV) said via its official Twitter account.

Malaysia sets another record high daily vaccination rate of 340,043 jabs on July 6

KUALA LUMPUR (July 7): Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 vaccination rate climbed further to 340,043 yesterday (July 6) from 313,761 the day before making it the highest number of vaccine doses delivered per day.  This is also the second consecutive day that daily shots given are above the 300,000-mark. Of this, 206,757 jabs were given as the first dose while 133,286 people had received their second dose, according to the latest tweet by the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV), citing data by the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF). In tandem with the increasing number of daily jabs, the seven-day moving average also rose to 262,230 compared with 246,757 the day earlier.
