San Diego County has spent more than $103 million to house people affected by COVID-19 in hotels. Some tested positive or had symptoms, while others had health issues that put them at risk. Many were homeless and had nowhere else to safely isolate.
San Diego County wants the courts to stop placing sexually violent predators in its communities, or at least pause placements until the system can be reformed.
