"I appreciate the answers we received after postponing the items on March 26 and I feel more comfortable now with the facts at hand as presented here (and) also at the RTC meeting of April 18," said Supervisor Bruce McPherson.
"I don't think there's any impacts yet," Santa Cruz County Deputy Director of Parks Rebecca Hurley told the Sentinel. "I would anticipate if we can't come to, you know, an approving action soon and have to ask for an extension there could be some negative impacts about that."
While it might be easy to get sentimental in the wake of these announcements, neither supervisor plans to take their foot off the gas during the year they have left in office.
