Moving Marshall Forward President Bobby Deane and Vice President Ann Michael Greene in the parking lot where the monthly market will operate. Itâll draw additional foot traffic, additional opportunity for new retail customers for all of the businesses. I think itâs a perfect thing for a small town like this. No citizens attend hearing on 2022 flat budget plan

The board of supervisors and staff members face 1,200 empty seats in the Fauquier High School auditorium for Tuesday nightâs public hearing on the county administratorâs proposed $339.4-million budget. My guess is we havenât had much feedback because thereâs no change to this yearâs budget. Supervisor Mary Leigh McDaniel

After the county government staff reviewed three bids, Fauquierâs board of supervisors in October awarded the $4.4 million construction project to Lorton-based Shirley Contracting Co. The same company built the recently-completed interchange at Warrentonâs southern edge.
