Changes to both of these Directions are minor administrative changes which do not significantly impact the way in which South Australia is currently operating. Supervised Quarantine No 8 The Emergency Management (Supervised Quarantine No 8) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 comes into effect at 12.01am on Saturday 24 April 2021. Key changes include: This Direction has been updated to clarify that a person directed to undertake supervised quarantine at a quarantine facility must undergo testing requirements which are imposed by Supervised Quarantine Direction and not the Cross Border Travel General Direction.

Updates have been made to the Supervised Quarantine Direction in South Australia. Supervised Quarantine No 7 The Emergency Management (Supervised Quarantine No 7) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 comes into effect at 6 pm Friday 9 April 2021. Additions in this Direction are the inclusion of Quarantine Facilities to provide restrictions for those who are not based at a medi-hotel site but are required to undertake supervised quarantine. This provides restrictions for those people who are at the new Paringa Resort Quarantine Facility. The following requirements apply under the Direction: People undertaking quarantine at the Quarantine Facility A person who is undertaking supervised quarantine at the Quarantine Facility must abide by all current supervised quarantine medi-hotel restrictions including in relation to COVID-19 testing, isolation, masks and physical distancing under the Direction.

Date Time Updates to COVID-19 Directions for 17 February 2021, South Australia Updates have been made to the Public Activities Direction, Supervised Quarantine Direction and the Residential Aged Care Directions. Public Activities Direction No 19 The Public Activities No 19 Direction comes into effect at 12.01am on Wednesday 17 February 2021. The changes are only in relation to QR Codes and are as follow: COVID Safe CheckIn- QR Codes People entering a business/place/activity with a COVID SAfe CheckIn QR Code must provide contact details on entry or as soon as reasonably practicable after entry, by scanning or manual entry. Any business/place/activity collecting manual records of entry must ensure that the records are kept in a manner which reduces the risk of them being copied, photographed or used by another person (other than an authorised officer). This means copies must be kept safe and secure and away from the general public.
