Bramwell did not admit guilt but accepted a sentence of up to 15 years in a Pennsylvania prison in 2014 for three counts of indecent assault, according to Catherine LaQuaglia, a Morris County assistant prosecutor. Bramwell served five years and was released on parole on May 3 and immediately taken to the Morris County jail.
LaQuaglia said she believed there would be no conditions to ensure the safety of the community and the victims. The nature of the offenses show a clear lack of control on the part of the defendant, LaQuaglia said. He used a position of trust with the family to abuse the victims over a period of time, causing irreparable harm. Though the victims are now adults, the harm that was caused is still reverberating.
