POINT PLEASANT BORO – Recent COVID-19 cases compelled the Point Pleasant Boro School District to switch Memorial Middle School to all-remote this week.
In a letter to the district, Superintendent Vincent Smith said the district was notified that members of the Memorial Middle School community have tested positive for COVID-19.
The school administration and school nurse have contacted the Ocean County Health Department and families of the students involved to initiate contact tracing, he said.
Subscribe At this time, we are putting a pause on in-person learning at Memorial Middle School and will transition to full-time remote learning effective Dec. 21, 2020 through Dec. 23, 2020 to ensure the safety of our school community, he said.
