ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Monday, starting next week visitor capacity at museums and zoos will increase to 50%. Movie theaters and indoor sports facility capacities are rising as well.
News10NBC talked to the leaders of both local zoos and museums, who say they are excited to welcome even more people through their doors.
The news was quick and caught the people off guard. Nevertheless, it s welcomed as people continue to look for different activities and attractions. So the numbers are stable and going down, right. So we can start to open up more economic activity. Governor Cuomo sharing some positive news especially for museums and zoos by increasing their capacity limits from 25% to 50%.
