CHARLOTTEVILLE (WINA) – Some 8000 Albemarle County students are returning to in-person school in some form as this morning starts Stage 4 of the Return To School plan. School Board Chair Graham Paige says they’ve been doing Stage 3 since February 1 when pre-K through 3rd grade students were in a 2-day in-person class hybrid, and only select 4th-through-12th graders were going in-person. He says the big difference in Stage 4 is those latter grade students can come to school under a hybrid plan 2 days a week if they choose. Pre-K through 3rd-grade students are now able to go to school 4 days a week.
