The Fayette Count School Board held a meeting on Thursday where the new Fayette County Board of Education District Three board member, Jason Moore, was expected to be sworn in.
The Fayette County Board of Education announced the resignation of Tom Jones on Monday.
During their regular board meeting, members voted unanimously to accept the resignation.
