Over the past twelve months, our magazine and website have been brimming with super-talented, creative souls. We’ve asked a few of them to tell us about their 2020 and offer a few tips about great stuff they’ve seen, watched and read.

Sum up 2020 in 3 words
Really bloody exhausting.
It’s been hard – harder than we could’ve ever anticipated, especially with the year we actually had planned. There’s been struggles personally, professionally, mentally, but we’re honestly thankful we’ve made it to the other side in one piece. Some of the stuff we’ve been involved in wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the pandemic cancelling everything, and we’re big believers in trusting the process. We
shopping season? are consumers confident? oh, yes. we are seeing a record shopping season. $1 trillion is expected to be spent black friday and cyber monday and christmas combined. first time consumers will spend more than $1 trillion in a shopping season. 78% of americans tend to buy something. either this weekend, cyber monday. 78% of americans say they will spend more or the same from last year to this year, and on average, $1500 per american. can you believe that? i forget, that is really vital to the u.s. economy. it powers a two-thirds of it. sandra: while there has been talk about the stock market, some people are using the r word, about what could be coming, a recession. the white house responded that that is not happening, and they are adamant that we will continue to seek solid growth in the economy. i agree. consumer confident is at an 18
