IRON MOUNTAIN Patrick P. Coan, 72, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain.
Patrick was born March 30, 1949 in Escanaba,
Mich., son of the late George and Melba (Huddleson) Coan. He graduated from EscanabaHigh School in 1967 and attended Bay de Noc College for one year. Patrick was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Ivy Carlson on May 26, 1976 in Escanaba. Patrick was employed at U.P. Office Supply as a salesman for over 20 years. He then purchased a semi truck and was a self-employed long haul truck driver for several years. Patrick enjoyed cooking, mowing the lawn, riding his motorcycle, and fixing and remodeling things around the house.
