Subscriber only Kunara Organic Marketplace is now offering plastic-free refills for everyday household items in collaboration with Melbourne based eco-friendly company Unpackaged.
Unpackaged founder and chief executive Irene Chen said she wants to bring her plastic free solution to help conserve the beautiful Sunshine Coast while also supporting local community businesses. The Sunshine Coast, as one of Australia s most beautiful beaches, is under threat of being covered in plastic rubbish and according to a survey, there are about 11.6 items of plastic rubbish per square metre along our Queensland coastline, Ms Chen said.
