Hailey Pitoscia was about 10 years old when she first learned to drive her family s boat, the Rehbein. Hailey, 22, was the first of the grandchildren to learn how and has fond memories of driving her cousins around on Island Lake. However, the nostalgia does not stop there. This boat and the cabin it resides at hold many Pitoscia family stories.
Most of the family has lived in the Duluth area their entire lives. Hailey s grandparents, Al and Pattie Pitoscia, now both 65, raised their three sons in Duluth, and two of the three live there year-round. Hailey’s dad, Steve Pitoscia, is East High School s new hockey coach and has spent the previous two years coaching in Omaha, balancing his time between Omaha and Duluth.
