space force station just yesterday. their names butch wilmore and sunny williams. there now just under 300 meters away from the international space station docking set to take place at 12 p.m. eastern time you re right. wolf overnight, they ran into issues with more helium leaks. we knew about one before launch two more popped up once the spacecraft was in orbit that appears they ve gotten them under control and now on this final approach to the iss, they ran into a few more little issues, some problems with some thrusters which propel the spacecraft through space. but right now, butch williams, the commander, is piloting the spacecraft manually, which means moving it totally on his own, no computers. and so we will wait and see if they are able to successfully dock with the space station. so yes, some minor issues wolf, but these types of things on a first crewed test flight, definitely to be expected. let s hope, let s hope

alliance to fix that pesky ground computer the two astronauts have been enjoying some, some quality time in quarantine. butch actually went fishing yesterday, sunny williams comes, went for a run on a beach and so that s it are kind of enjoying. their final few minutes on earth before hopefully lifting off today, kate, hopefully third times the charm. and if it does lift off today from the kennedy space the center and cape canaveral space force station, then these two astronauts are going to spend eight days up at the international space station. but the big thing here, kate, this is a flight test. the first time that this space craft, boeing s starliner spacecraft, has ever flown people in space. there s only six times in us history that that has happened mercury, gemini, apollo, the space shuttle, spacex s crew, dragon, and now boeing s starliner. it has been about a decade to get to this point spacex ended up beating
