The number of stray dogs is increasing alarmingly in the city. Therefore, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to carry out a survey to determine the population of the 'free-roaming' dogs in the city from next month, so as to create a database and thereby adopt birth control strategies.
