Central team assess losses of Kharif crops due to rains in Maharashtra AIR Pics A six-member team, comprising of high-level central administrative officials is assessing losses of Kharif crops due to rains during the monsoon season in Maharashtra. The team led by Ramesh Ganta comprising Mr R B Kaul, Mr Yashpal, R P Singh, Tushar Vyas, S S Sahare arrived yesterday in Aurangabad.   The team took stock of the damage after meeting the officials in divisional commissioner office. The team visited 9 villages from Aurangabad, Pathan and Gangapur Tehsil today and is expected to assess the damage in other parts of Maharashtra till December 26.
