KLUANG, March 8 The Environment and Water Ministry (Kasa) has instructed the related departments including the Environment Department (DoE) to investigate the black patches claimed to have been polluting Sungai Kim Kim lately.
Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said water samples have been taken and drones have been deployed to monitor the affected river stretch to identify the source of the black patches.

KLUANG (Bernama): The Environment and Water Ministry (Kasa) has instructed relevants departments including the Environment Department (DOE) to investigate the black patches of water claimed to be pollutants in Sungai Kim Kim.
Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said water samples have been taken and drones deployed to monitor the affected stretch of the river to identify the source of the black patches. We do not want a recurrence of the toxic waste dumping incident. As soon as we received the report, DOE officers were instructed to visit the site at Sungai Kim Kim.

KLUANG, Johor: Malaysia’s Environment and Water Minister Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man on Monday (Mar 8) said that his ministry has instructed the relevant departments - including the Environment Department (DOE) - to investigate claims of black patches polluting Sungai Kim Kim.
The minister also said that water samples have been taken and drones have been deployed to monitor the affected river stretch to identify the source of the black patches.
He said the supply disruption is expected to continue until the middle of next month.
“Kedah water utility company Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn. Bhd (SADA) will continue to deliver water to the affected residents through tankers right to their doorstep. So far, there are no complaints from other areas and the state water utility companies will monitor the situation and have water delivered if the need arises, he told reporters at the handover of the first water access project at Kampung Melayu, Seelong, Senai here today
He said this in commenting on measures taken by the government to address the drop in reservoir water level during the current hot weather.

KULAI, March 8 The Ministry of Environment and Water (Kasa) has so far received one complaint on water supply disruption from residents in Baling, Kedah following the current hot weather, said its Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
He said the supply disruption is expected to continue until the middle of next month.
