NIBONG TEBAL: The Ministry of Environment and Water (Kasa) is coordinating repairs around the area hit by the recent flash floods in Janda Baik, Bentong in Pahang.
KUANTAN: Additional emergency works related to floods in Janda Baik, Bentong, with an estimated cost of RM1mil, is expected to begin next week and be completed within three months, says Environment and Water Ministry (Kasa) secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang.
KUANTAN: Continuous heavy rain from 3am Wednesday (May 11) caused several areas in Janda Baik, Bentong, to be hit by flash floods apart from landslide incidents reported in the district.
KUANTAN: Multiple landslides and detritus flows are said to be the main cause of the debris flood phenomenon in the highland valleys of the Sungai Bentong basin in Pahang and Sungai Langat in Selangor.
