In Schärding wurde in der Nacht damit begonnen, den Hochwasserschutz aufzubauen, am Sonntagvormittag fiel der Entschluss, den Schutz in vollständiger Höhe zu errichten. Der Parkplatz Schiffsanlegestelle, sowie der Leonhard-Kaiser-Weg sind für den gesamten Verkehr gesperrt. Am späteren Sonntagnachmittag wurde auch die Alte Innbrücke gesperrt. 6.000 gefüllte Sandsäcke liegen bereit.
