Producing, preserving quality seed of high value crops underscored 374 GAIBANDHA, Jan 06, 2021 (BSS) – Agriculture experts in a function here have stressed the need for producing, preserving and distributing high quality seed of various crops including paddy, wheat and jute to get desired output. They gave the importance while addressing a field day on the demonstration of seed production block in Shimulerta area under Subarnadaha of Sundarganj upazila in the district on Tuesday. Sundarganj upazila agriculture office under the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) arranged the function under a project run by the DAE. Agriculturist Khandakar Abdul Wahed, additional director of the DAE, Rangpur region, addressed the function as the chief guest.
