Simon Collins to vacate position as betting MD at News UK Share News UK’s Managing Director of Betting and Gaming, Simon Collins, is set to vacate his position, with the intention of returning to the start up sector. Collins has over 25 years experience in the iGaming industry, having overseen the development of a number of brands across a range of verticals. He co-founded and served as Managing Director of Cashcade – the owner of Gaming Realms in 2018. Cashcade was sold to Party Gaming for £90 million, whilst Collins remained at bwin.party, focusing on innovation, research and development as well as managing the social side of Cashcade’s brands. He maintained this position until April 2011.
