即便离休了，张富清也时时处处严格要求自己。卧室的书桌上，摆着成堆的学习资料。享受公费医疗政策的他，为了防止家人“占便宜”，不惜锁住放药的抽屉。 2012年，张富清因病左腿截肢。为了不影响子女“为党和人民工作”，88岁的他装上假肢，拼命练习一年，顽强站了起来。 他讲不来豪言壮语，所说的每一句话都那么质朴纯净、直抵人心。 张富清荣获了“全国优秀共产党员”“最美奋斗者”“时代楷模”等荣誉称号，并被授予“共和国勋章”。诸多光环加身，他依然是那个坚守初心、保持本色的张富清；依然是那个“为党为人民可以牺牲一切的张富清”。 这位1948年8月在战场上火线入党的老党员这样说：“我要在有生之年，坚决听党的话，党指到哪里，我就做到哪里，党叫我做啥，我就做啥。” 新华社武汉6月15日电（记者谭元斌）�
