During his redshirt season, Parco wrestled unattached to the university at 141 and tallied seven wins by decision, four major decisions, three technical falls and three falls.

Powell is a two-time Texas state champion in two weight classes (138 and 149) with Liberty Christian Prep. He won all four of his matches by fall within the first minute of wrestling in the 2020 TAPPS State Wrestling Tournament.

It has been 22 years since the last time ASU and Wyoming stood across from each other on a wrestling mat.
Wyoming went 8-10 overall and 4-4 in Big 12 conference play last season, including victories over Pac-12 opponents Cal State Bakersfield and Oregon State. As a team, the Cowboys finished in seventh place at the Big 12 Championship. Then-junior Brian Andrews won the Big 12 heavyweight title and he became just the third Cowboy to take home a Big 12 title since UW joined the league in 2016.
Andrews along with six other Cowboy wrestlers were ranked in college wrestling polls and the Big 12 champion landed the No. 10 spot according to FloWrestling.
TEMPE, Ariz. Due to the recent COVID-19 developments within the Sun Devil Wrestling program, the Sun Devils' matches in Ames, Iowa against No. 6 Iowa State, No. 15 Missouri and Northern Iowa scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 17, have been canceled.

TEMPE, Ariz. The No. 10 Sun Devil Wrestling team opens the 2020-21 season in Tempe, against Pac-12 opponent Little Rock on Saturday, Jan. 2 at 12 p.m. (MST). The bout will be broadcast live on ASU Live Stream on Pac-12.com. Little Rock, a Pac-12 team, who is always well coached and ready to go will be a fun opening home test for us, head coach Zeke Jones said. They took three matches from us last year so we can t let our guard down as we need to be ready to battle on the mat.
Last season s 38-9 victory over Little Rock was the first in Sun Devil history as it was the Trojans inaugural season as a division one program. In the win, ASU notched seven bonus-point wins and had three-straight pins including pins from redshirt senior Anthony Valencia (165) and senior Kordell Norfleet (197).
