strong and vibrant entity. reporter: after leaving the uk sunday evening, president travels to brussels for a nato summit and to meet with european union leaders. wednesday he will then go to geneva to meet with russian president vladimir putin. cnn international diplomatic editor nic robertson joins us from the summit site. tell us where we are, where they re just about to start the last date of the summit. what have they achieved so far, and how much is left to be done on this final day of work? well, oftentimes summits like this, the final wording of the final communique will be being hammered out behind the scenes. you know, the leaders get to sit down around the table and make their points and statements to each other and find the areas where there s coalescing and agreement, or let s say even disagreement. and so the broad brushstrokes of
carbon-neutral future, by making commitments that, you know, that businesses can see are concrete and actionable by the governments, that businesses will be able to find investment for greener energy projects. so that s, you know what they re trying to do, stimulate other countries to follow suit, but stimulate financial markets to begin to invest more and more strongly and heavily in the greener economy. all right. nic robertson at the summit site, thank you very much. two more working sessions for world leaders today, then a final communique, and that s what we ll be dissecting with you. you ll be following that throughout the day. thank you very much. uk prime minister boris johnson talked with clarissa ward. she asked about his relationship with u.s. president joe biden. as she noted, there have been a few bumps along the way. he also famously referred to

biden really in the next several minutes arriving at the summit site with other leaders of the g7. of course, this is he s been making the claim that america is back. now he has to prove it through these conversations, through these one on one meetings and group meetings. there s much on the agenda here. president biden has cast this as a very serious momentous time for the world. as it recovers or tries to recover economically and otherwise from the global pandemic. he said it s every bit as important and monumental as the post-war period. and he has been trying to draw that contrast, building up the trans-atlantic alliance. we saw him yesterday meeting with boris johnson but he will be meeting with other leaders of the g7 here and so much on their plate, including the economy. of course, the pandemic. and china, of course, not a member of the g7, not here, but certainly a subtext of all of the conversations going forward here. so we will see these leaders coming together for the fi
