Travel in some areas is impossible. Hundreds of flights have been canceled this morning, and at least two traffic deaths are blamed on the storm. Some of the largest accumulations were in kansas where the National Guard is patrolling roadways. One meteorologist said it was pouring snow there. At one point a 200mile stretch of interstate 70 was shut down. Iowa is one of at least 15 states under a winter storm warning or watch this morning. Heaven blinding snow fell there overnight and is not expected to end until this afternoon. The heavy snow and freezing rain made for slick roads wherever.
