Mayor s Office of Youth and Families and The Black School celebrates second year Summer Success , hosted at Xavier s Art Village The Mayor s Office of Youth and Families (OYF), in partnership with JOB1, has completed its second year of the Summer Success program, which provides workforce readiness opportunities for high-risk youth. The program pairs youth who have interacted with the criminal justice system or who have been truant with a five-week internship experience at a local organization. The Black School, an experimental art school teaching Black radical history, partnered with Xavier s Art Department to hold a Creative Art and Graphic Design hosted at Xavier s Art Village. A press conference to celebrate the completion of the program was held on July 21 at the Art Village.
