They are far more versatile than dresses

Why, I wondered a few months ago, don’t more designers make co-ords? Those matching separates that, when worn together, look like a dress or a jumpsuit, but which can also be worn on their own in lots of different permutations.
Then blow me down, I started to see them everywhere. My sisters and I used to count Minis when we were trying to entertain ourselves on long car journeys (presumably no self-respecting five-year-old with an iPad does that now). Co-ords are more fun to tally – and more challenging because they’re not always immediately obvious. That’s how sleekly and convincingly they can work as one piece.
