RAPID CITY, S.D. Movies, field trips, arts and crafts, swimming, fitness fun and out-of-town excursions are part of the adventures awaiting young campers at the Summer Blast Day Camps, hosted by the Rapid City Recreation Division.
There are eight one-week sessions beginning May 31 and concluding the week of July 26-30. The all-day camps are open to children ages five through 12 years of age.
“The camps are designed to encourage new friendships and provide opportunities for campers to gain new experiences, under the care of trained recreation staff,” said Matt Brandhagen, City Recreation Specialist. “It’s a learning and fun experience for everyone involved.”
