Bengaluru, India – January 7, 2023: The Infosys Science Foundation(ISF) today awarded the winners of the Infosys Prize 2022 for their significant contributions to research at a presentation ceremony in Bengaluru.

Following the announcement, ISF President Kris Gopalakrishnan said that the Infosys Prize is promoting stellar research in India by identifying and rewarding individual scholars. "Even as our laureates add to the sum total of human knowledge, their work has real impact in the here and now," he said.
Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy on Tuesday said the country faces huge challenges in the field of research in sciences despite the country achieving the feat of producing COVID-19 vaccine and inoculating the people of the country.
