Texas Legato Winery, owned by Bill and Sulynn Bledsoe of Lampasas, received the 2023 Grand Star Medal for its Non-Vintage Sojourn port-styled wine. The grape is a 2023 Washington Syrah made on site, Bledsoe said. Awards were presented by the Texas Wine and Grape Growers at its Lone Star International Competition in Grapevine. More than 550 unique wines were entered in the competition from more than 100 companies.
