The Sultan Azlan Shah Power Station (SJSAS) in Manjung, Perak, has become a pilot station for the Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) floating solar farm project. A TNB statement on Thursday said 288 photovoltaic (PV) solar panels have been installed on a 175-hectare ash pond with an installed capacity of 105.12kWp - equivalent to a reduction of 7.9 tonnes of carbon emission per month or carbon dioxide uptake by 409 trees.
