Grace A. Ljung
Grace Adelle Ljung, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2021, with her children at her side.
Grace was born to John and Ruth (Erickson) Rosander on a wintry January day in 1928. She joined older brother, Leland, and grew up near Dassel, MN. After graduating from Dassel High School and attending Minnesota School of Business, she worked at General Mills and lived in Minneapolis. She met Warren Ljung through a mutual acquaintance, they soon married and later moved to Alexandria to raise their growing family on a small dairy farm on the shores of Lake Geneva.
She was infinitely patient, kind, gentle, and generous all the best qualities of a wife, mother, and caregiver. She was a wonderful cook and baker. In her leisure time, Grace was an avid solver of crossword puzzles and other word games. She was a challenging opponent in Scrabble, card games, and board games and occasionally let others win to keep them from getting discouraged. Grace was a long-time
