Number Of Defenceless Obigbo Residents Abducted & Disappeared For Four Months By Nigerian Army Rises To 550

The International Society for Civil Liberties & Rule of Law has reviewed and found that the number of innocent and defenceless Obigbo residents in Rivers State secretly abducted and made to disappear for over four months by soldiers of the Nigerian Army is now 550 and likely to hit 600 in the end. This is subject to the likelihood of fresh discovery of secret Army and other security dungeons in the North where others are kept, tortured and starved outside public knowledge.   The abduction of 550 defenceless and innocent Obigbo residents, perpetrated on the grounds of their ethnicity and religion is the highest number of abductions by Nigerian Army in the history of non-war situations in Nigeria. The incidence happened on Thursday, February 25, 2021 along Suleja-Bida Road in Niger State while on his way back to Abuja.
