A Mumbai court has observed that the term “private part” of a human body is to be interpreted in the context of what it means in “our society”. While stating so, the special Protection of Children against Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act court sentenced a 22-year-old man to 5 years’ jail for touching a 10-year-old girl’s posterior.
