Kota Kinabalu: A 32-year-old man claimed trial to having 32.14gm of syabu.
Mohd Fauzi Roslim made the plea before Sessions Court Judge Elsie Primus, after the charge was read to him, Wednesday.
Mohd Fauzi is accused of having the drug at 4.35pm on Dec 17, 2020 in front the Borneo Auto Enterprise in Sulaman Sentral, Manggatal, here.

The offence under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act carries a jail term of between five years and life imprisonment, and whipping at least 10 strokes, upon conviction.
The court set June 22 for case management and Nov 8 and 23 to hear the case.

Kota Kinabalu: Police have identified a drug trafficking syndicate following the arrest of a 31-year-old man along with the seizure of 58.29gm of Syabu worth RM5,829 near a car service centre in Sulaman Sentral, Manggatal, Thursday.

City Police Chief ACP Habibi Majinji said at 4.35pm, a team arrested the suspect who was seen walking towards his vehicle hurriedly and opening the back passenger door.
“A search on the vehicle found four packets of Syabu weighing 3.76gm hidden in a bag and another four packets weighing 54.53gm in the storage area.
