NOVI Justin Fischer’s election as mayor has left a vacancy on the Novi City Council, which, according to the city charter, must be filled by a council appointee within 30 days or otherwise will require a special election.
The people have spoken and for the first time in 12 years, Novi has a new mayor. Councilman Justin Fischer has been selected to lead the city for the next four years.
In the Nov. 7 election, voters in Novi will choose a mayor and three City Council members Candidates were asked, in 75 words or fewer, to state their top goal(s) if elected.
