PESHAWAR: South Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo has said that various companies from his country are willing to invest in different sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan here on Friday. Minister for finance and health Taimur Saleem Jhagra and minister for law and local government Akbar Ayub were also present, according to a statement.
Mahmood Khan said his government had offered various incentives to foreign investors in various sectors of the province.
Matters relating to South Korean firms’ investment in different sectors, particularly energy and power and local government, came under discussion. Steps to promote religious tourism were also discussed.

During the meeting between the Ambassador in Pakistan Suh Sangpyo and the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in Peshawar today (Friday), they also discussed matters of mutual interests including investment in hydel and local government sectors in the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahmood Khan said Pakistan and South Korea linked with brotherly relations.
He said the government is taking solid steps for promotion of foreign investment besides provision of better facilities to foreign investors.

RAWALPINDI: Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa here.
