National Weather Service Duluth is offering classes to teach Northlanders about severe weather safety, the science of storms and the importance of weather spotters. Basic Class dates: April 7, 11 a.m.; April 12, noon; April 13, 6:30 p.m.; April 14, 10 a.m.; April 15, 6:30 p.m.; April 21, 6:30 p.m. Advanced Class dates: April 27, 10 a.m.; April 28, 2 p.m.; April 29, 6:30 p.m. Free.
