The man accused of fatally stabbing a man and seriously injuring five others at Sugar Rush Partyland has been released on bond, according to Webb County Jail records.
Webb County court records show that the bond for Anthony Tays Jr., 18, was to remain the same at a combined $525,000 but to be posted with pre-trial services with weekly reporting, curfew from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and an ankle monitor with fees.

Sugar Rush suspect featured as Laredo Crime Stoppers most wanted

A man linked to an altercation at Sugar Rush Partyland that left one person dead and five injured is Laredo Crime Stoppers’ most wanted suspect, according to authorities.
Laredo police said Lester Herrera, 34, remains at large. He has a warrant out for his arrest for deadly conduct, discharge of a firearm.
On Tuesday, LPD made its first arrest in connection with the case.
Anthony Tays Jr., 18, was served with arrest warrants charging him with one count of murder and five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He remained behind bars at the Webb County Jail as of Thursday afternoon.
