Jerry Jones Mind Once Again Goes to Strange Places When Thinking About the Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys hold the No. 10 overall pick in this year s draft and really ought to use it on a defender to help bolster one of the league s worst defenses last season. There is a chance, however slim, they do not and instead take Florida s Kyle Pitts. The biggest reason they might do that is because Jerry Jones, who calls the shots around there, is infatuated with the elite tight end prospect.
Pitts would be an absolute blast to watch catching balls from Dak Prescott while lining up next to Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. It wouldn t be the smart move, but it sure would be the fun one. The Cowboys shared an excerpt of Pitts interview with the team and ownership and Jones told him We can dream of visions of sugar plums around here in expressing how excited he was at the possibility of Pitts in Dallas.

Picture: Mike Tipping LOVING tributes have been paid to Laura Mason, the York cookery writer and food historian, who has died from cancer aged 63. Laura, who died on February 2, was born in Ilkley but settled in York. Her funeral took place on February 15. She was well known in York for her cookery writing and involvement with the York Food Festival. As an expert on confectionery she advised the makers of the 2004 film, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, on the set-up of Honeyduke’s Sweetshop.
The band at Buffalo High School hosted their annual winter concert on Tuesday night, Dec. 8, 2020 in the auditorium at the high school. The concert is normally held with the choirs but the two groups had to split up this year because of COVID-19 maximum attendance numbers. The concert opened with performances by the percussion ensemble and then the rest of the band was brought out for the concert band performances.
