In recognition of Texas History Month in March, Fort Bend County Libraries Sugar Land Branch Library will present a program for teens (grades 9-12) on "Soldiers of the Texas Revolution"
Fort Bend County Libraries began the process of reopening numerous locations to the public in March, and several more area libraries will soon be joining them.
A news release from the library system said the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch (8100 FM 359), First Colony Branch (2121 Austin Pkwy.), the Mamie George Branch in Stafford (320 Dulles Ave.) and the Sugar Land Branch (550 Eldridge Rd.) will resume in-person activities for patrons on June 4.
Also reopening is the Mission Bend Branch at 8421 Addicks Clodine Rd. in Houston for mostly normal pre-pandemic operations. However, programming and events for children, teens and adults will remain online and in virtual formats.
