COLUMBUS, Ohio At least eight Ohio State Buckeyes Justin Fields, Baron Browning, Wyatt Davis, Pete Werner, Josh Myers, Tommy Togiai, Shaun Wade and Trey Sermon will be picked in the 2021 NFL Draft. Justin Hilliard and Jonathon Cooper likely will be drafted as well, bringing the OSU count to 10, and there’s a chance Luke Farrell or Tuf Borland could also be selected.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State could be nearing its 12th 2022 football commitment and third at the cornerback position.
Over the last month, Ryan Turner of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida has looked more like a tourist rather than a standout junior cornerback.
Turner, the No. 35 cornerback nationally, has made the trek from his home in Hollywood, Florida which is 23 miles north of Miami across the Midwest and Northeast in search of his college home. Over the last three weekends, Turner has taken self-guided visits at Ohio State, Clemson and Boston College. The three schools, along with Penn State, are at the top of his 32 offers.

Think about it like this:
Three years ago, Fields had just arrived at Georgia, where he’d spend the next 12 months as Jake Fromm’s backup being used primarily for his legs, which come to find out can run 40 yards in 4.44 seconds.
Meanwhile, Haskins with whom he’s friends was in Columbus in the process of beating out eventual Heisman Trophy winner and No. 1 draft pick Joe Burrow by putting together a quality performance in the Spring Game.

COLUMBUS, Ohio It’s been over four years since Wyatt Davis, a five-star guard from St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.), committed to Ohio State.
When Davis picked the Buckeyes, Earnest Greene was only in middle school. However, he saw Davis’ journey from St. John Bosco to Columbus and now the NFL. He paid attention to the path.
Now, Greene is a 6-4.5, 330-pound junior and ranked 2022′s No. 2 guard in the country with a decision to make.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Though they came a little later than normal, Ohio State football’s 2023 recruiting class’ potential leaders finally have their 247Sports composite rankings.
There have been 14 in-state players ranked as top-150 recruits in the three cycles that Ryan Day has been the Buckeyes’ head coach. Only two have not ended up in Columbus. Both were wide receivers where they already had higher-rated options in the class.
This is a formula that OSU hopes to continue in 2023, and while there’s has always been an idea of which players would classify as “Ohio best,” their debut in the composite rankings makes it official. Now the clock is ticking for when each will choose to commit, and two are already highly favored to stay home.
