Over the last month, Ryan Turner of Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Florida has looked more like a tourist rather than a standout junior cornerback. Turner, the No. 35 cornerback nationally, has made the trek from his home in Hollywood, Florida which is 23 miles north of Miami across the Midwest and Northeast in search of his college home. There have been 14 in-state players ranked as top-150 recruits in the three cycles that Ryan Day has been the Buckeyes’ head coach. Only two have not ended up in Columbus. Both were wide receivers where they already had higher-rated options in the class.
