One-way street tested to make busy Matamata street more functional

The street boasts a toilet block, skate park, bus stop and car park, but the Matamata-Piako District Council want to revitalise the space into a people-friendly area as part of its ‘streetscape project’. To combat some of these challenges, council held a one-day trial on Hetana St on Friday, December 4.
