Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice A DEDICATED duo has given almost three decades each to housekeeping at Reading Duchess of Kent Hospice. Tilehurst resident Debbie Harris is the Housekeeping supervisor at the Sue Ryder-run hospice, where she has worked for the last 30 years, and her colleague Debbie Macgregor, also from Tilehurst, is a Housekeeping assistant and has been at the hospice for 28 years. The pair have joined the campaign efforts, backed by the Reading Chronicle, calling for urgent help from the community to secure the hospice’s future. It is part of a Sue Ryder campaign to fight back against the impact of the coronavirus in its hospice care and battle to continue its vital work locally.
