A big donation to help those experiencing homelessness in Chatham-Kent.
The 100 Women Who Care have handed over a cheque for over $12,000 to R.O.C.K. Missions.
The organization was nominated by Sue Cummings, who also volunteers with the outreach program.
“I see the profound and positive impact R.O.C.K. Missions has on the homeless, the impoverished, and those who suffer from hunger, mental illness and drug addiction,” Cummings says.
Twice a week, volunteers prepare 300 lunches to give to those living on the streets of Chatham-Kent. The group also hands out other everyday necessities, such as hygiene products and blankets.
