Blame you either, would i not want to take the action if i knew that the only thing that i would get is somebody saying that i am not going to do it. And you dont have any power and you dont have any control, people say that the Sunshine Task force does not and i will give them this, at least, listen to the citizens of this city and when they find a good case, they will issue a violation and i have 19 of them myself and just try to get them enforced. And you can catch people in a blatant lie and you know the most interesting thing about it, they never have the courage to show up and explain their own actions. The Sunshine Ordinance Task force and its finding original finding, 1154, said, under findings of fact and conclusions of the law, the task force further noted that the statement should be within the body of the minutes to prevent the Public Officials from unlawfully abridging unwanted or critical Public Comment, which is specifically impermissible under the brown act and the sunshine ordinance. What has changed, well, last time we had three cases 10054, in january of 2011, and then we had 1154 and, then we had 1171, specifically against the City Attorney saying that the task force disagreed with him and found him in violation. And now one thing that i would like to point out is that in your staff report the followings, it was listed. To quote, todate, the task force has not issued any policy advice to city departments regarding compliance of sunshine ordinance, section 6716 and on the website the task force directs users to the Good Government guide as a legal reference. That come before you. Such as, you can withdraw the case and refile. I dont know what your situation is. But if that is the case, that might be something that might be helpful for someone who has filed a case. Particularly if a withdraw and a refiling could be done without prejudice to the filer. And i do think that she has had without getting to the details, i know that she has had some very considerable obstacles to surmount and issues to deal with in her personal life. Which i could understand would be difficult to deal with, for anybody, let alone try and pursue Something Like a case against a number of supervisors at the Ethics Commission. So i think there should be some respect for who she is and what she has done and just to give her a reasonable chance as i said, ask her when she would like to have the hearing, and if you have guidelines that you want to insist on, lay those out and if there are options you might also lay those out as well.
