J&K: Security Forces Neutralize Terrorist Involved In Killing Of Two Councilors & A Cop
A terrorist involved in the killing of two councilors and a policeman on March 29 in the ensuing year was among two terrorists neutralized in an encounter.

In a major success for the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, a foreign terrorist involved in the killing of two councilors and a policeman on March 29 in the ensuing year was among two terrorists neutralized in an encounter at Nathipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir s Baramulla district.
Top official sources said that two terrorists were killed in the encounter at the Nathipora area of Sopore after the security forces laid siege in the area after receiving specific inputs about the presence of terrorists in the aforesaid area earlier today. They said among the two eliminated in the encounter is a Pakistan national who was involved in the Sopore attack that rusted in the killing of two councilors

Srinagar, May 04:Police on Tuesday said two militants were killed in a gunfight with militants in Nathipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir s Baramulla.
Senior Superintendent (SSP) of Police Sopore, Sudhanshu Verma told Rising Kashmir that two militants were killed in the joint operation.
The officer said the anti-militancy operation was launched today evening by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Police, paramilitary CRPF, and Army following intelligence inputs.
He said as the search parties were zeroing in on the suspected location, the hiding militants opened fire at them who retaliated, triggering a gunfight.

Relatives of Reyaz Ahmad mourn in Sopore

Reyaz Ahmad, a father of six, was shot dead in a terrorist attack on a municipal council meet in the town, reports Jibran Nazir.
